Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2026

The short version: use Pops to make cool, lawful, original things. Don't use Pops to harm people, deceive consumers, or break the law. We'll suspend accounts that do.

1. Strictly prohibited

You may not use Pops to generate, distribute, or facilitate any of the following:

  • Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes minors. We report violations to NCMEC and law enforcement.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, including realistic nude or sexual depictions of real people without their explicit consent.
  • Unlawful behavior, including content used to plan, commit, or further any crime.
  • Violence and incitement targeting individuals or protected groups, or content glorifying mass violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
  • Hate speech, including dehumanizing content based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Harassment, bullying, or doxxing.
  • Weapons, illegal drug, or hazardous-materials manufacturing instructions.
  • Malware, ransomware, phishing kits, exploit code, or material designed to bypass authentication or DRM.
  • Election interference — fabricated quotes from candidates or officials, deepfakes intended to deceive voters, AI-generated robocalls.
  • Fraud, scams, or deceptive business practices, including unauthorized impersonation of real people or organizations.
  • Misinformation on health, safety, or financial decisions presented as authoritative when it is not.
  • Spam, mass unsolicited messaging, or bulk commercial campaigns that violate CAN-SPAM, CASL, or equivalent laws.

2. Restricted use cases

Some use cases are allowed only with extra disclosures and human review:

  • Health, legal, or financial guidance — Outputs must be labeled as informational and not a substitute for professional advice.
  • Real-person likeness or voice — only with documented consent of the person, or where they are public figures and the use is clearly satirical, parodic, journalistic, or otherwise lawful.
  • Political content — must clearly disclose AI involvement and follow applicable election laws in your jurisdiction.
  • Children's products — must comply with COPPA and equivalent laws.
  • Adult content — only on accounts that pass age verification and only in jurisdictions where it is lawful, and never with non-consensual or minor subjects.

3. Advertising on regulated platforms

If you use Pops Outputs in advertising on Meta, TikTok, Google, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snap, or similar platforms, you are responsible for following each platform's policies. In particular:

  • Don't make exaggerated, "miracle", or unverifiable claims (e.g., "guaranteed weight loss", "100% success", "make $10k overnight").
  • Don't use sensational before/after imagery for personal-attribute products (skin, weight, dating, gambling, financial, etc.).
  • Don't ask sensitive personal questions in ad creative ("Are you depressed?" "In debt?" etc.).
  • Don't impersonate news outlets, celebrities, public officials, or platform brands.
  • Always show clear pricing, refund, and cancellation terms.

Violations of platform policies are violations of this AUP.

4. Service integrity

  • Don't attempt to bypass safety systems, model guardrails, or rate limits.
  • Don't probe, scan, or test the security of the Services without our written permission.
  • Don't reverse-engineer the Services, scrape protected pages, or violate robots.txt.
  • Don't share your account credentials or sell access to your account.

5. Reporting abuse

If you see Output that violates this AUP, report it to trust@thepopspodcast.com with a link, screenshot, or transcript. For child-safety concerns, also report to NCMEC CyberTipline.

6. Enforcement

We may, in our discretion, warn you, remove content, throttle your account, suspend access, or terminate your account for violations of this AUP. We may also report violations to authorities or affected third parties as required by law.

Repeat violations. Repeat violations of this AUP — or any single severe violation (such as CSAM or doxxing) — will result in immediate, permanent termination without refund.

7. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. The latest version is always available at this URL.
